We teach mathematics in a creative, cross curricular approach providing practical real life opportunities for enterprise, problem solving and developing mathematical reasoning. Staff use the NCETM as a tool to support planning, as well was resources from the White Rose, Primary Stars and Maths No Problem. Pupils gain confidence in using mathematical vocabulary and applying mental fluency in all concepts. Mathematical concepts include number, measurement, geometry and statistics. We also teach the NCETM Mastering Number programme to all of our children.
