Thank you for visiting our website. I hope you find it clear, informative and easy to navigate. It is designed to give you a flavour of the vibrant life of our school, the work of our pupils and the wonderful opportunities we provide at Filey CE Nursery & Infants Academy.

We are extremely proud of our pupils and staff and the welcoming atmosphere they create. The Christian character and core values of our school are reflected in everything we do. ‘Community, Compassion and Friendship’ are key in ensuring our school is a safe and happy place where everyone feels valued. Our dedicated staff wholeheartedly share this vision and work tirelessly to provide a varied and engaging curriculum fostering a passion for learning and creating a lifetime of memories.

We have many wonderful outdoor learning areas, including a meadow garden, allotment, reflective area, sports field, climbing area and an animal enclosure for our school ducks and rabbit! We also have a super library that has been specially created on a double decker bus! ‘Big Red’ the reading bus is an exciting place to enjoy and share books.  Here at Filey Infants we value and encourage parental engagement and offer many opportunities for family members to join us in school e.g. Family Learning sessions three times a week, Family Reading Club on ‘Big Red’ twice a week, Class Collective Worship times, Year Group Productions, Summer & Christmas Fayres and much more.  If you would like to know more about our school, you are very welcome to come and visit. The children of Filey very much enjoy talking about their work and sharing their achievements and our successes. The best way to really get a feel for our school is to come and visit, all visitors are warmly welcomed.

We believe Filey CE Nursery and Infants Academy is a very special place with a warm and caring atmosphere. If you have any questions or would like to arrange a visit please phone or email our school office, we are here to help wherever we can.
