Dear Parent/Carers

I hope everyone enjoyed the half term holiday and are now looking forward to another busy and exciting half term in school.

Level 1 Qualification

We have a wonderful opportunity for adults to gain a level 1 accredited qualification in preparing to work in schools. This is a free course taking place in our own school starting Thursday 14^th November 9am -12am until Thursday 30^th January. Please see Mrs Newlove in the office for more information.

Family Learning

Just a reminder that Family Learning will also take place on Mondays 1pm from the 11^th November. This is a great opportunity to make Christmas Crafts with your children in school, enjoy a cuppa and a biscuit! Please just come along a crèche is provided for younger siblings.

Remembrance Day

On Monday 11^th November at 11am our Year Two children will visit Filey Memorial Gardens to take part in the service and plant their handmade poppies.

Poppies are now available in school and children are invited to make a donation,

Flu Vaccinations

Flu Vaccinations will take place in school on Wednesday 13^th November.

Children in Need

Friday 15^th November is Children in Need Day. Your children are invited to wear something spotty to school for the day. Each class will have a collection pot for donations.

Poetry Assemblies  

Mr Jackson’s Poetry Assembly will take place on Friday 22^nd November at 9.10am and Mrs Stubbs’ Poetry Assembly will now take place on Friday 29^th November also at 9.10am.
