Dear Parents/Carers

Wow! What a wonderful half term in school with so many things to celebrate.

Family Learning

Family learning sessions are now so popular that Lucy and Miss Hiley will be starting another session on Monday’s at 1pm. This is a great opportunity to work with your child in school, make things together and meet new people. Please contact the school for more information or to just come and visit a session if you are unsure.

Phonic Bug

Phonic Bug is an online programme that allows your children to read books and play phonic games. After half term each class will invite parents into class to see how your children can log on at home and make use of this wonderful resource. A list to sign up for a training session will be displayed next to your child’s class from Monday 4^th November. Training sessions will be 2.30pm-3pm on the 5^th 6^th and 7^th of November.

Our Rabbits Name!

Thank you for so many choices of names for our beautiful new friend. If was a very difficult decision but the winning name was chosen by Alivia Winter and Harper Elvidge. Our rabbit is now officially called Bonnie!

Sustainable Fashion!

Congratulation to Mrs Stubbs’, Mr Jackson’s and Miss Beaumont’s classes for a fantastic fashion show and of course for appearing on Look North on Thursday evening (Famous Filey Infants)!

I am so very proud of all our children and my inspirational staff. Thank you for your continued support and I hope everyone has a lovely half term holiday. School will reopen on Monday 4^th November.
