To parents and carers at
all Ebor Academy Trust schools

Dear Parent/Carer
Schools have been asked to continue to provide care only for vulnerable children and for children of key workers who would not otherwise be able to work.

Government guidance is clear that if children can stay safely at home, they should, to limit the chance of the virus spreading.

It may be necessary to challenge your claim of a school place if we think accepting too many children into school will compromise the school’s ability to open. This is a fast moving situation and we may need to revisit our decisions on a daily basis.

We appreciate these are very worrying and stressful times, both for you as a parent/carer and for the staff in our schools. It is really important we work together for the benefit of everyone in these challenging circumstances.
