Dear Parents/Carers

Today has been a very difficult and upsetting time. I have had some difficult conversations and have tried hard to make the right decisions for everyone during this extraordinary time.

My staff and I are all extremely sad that we have said goodbye to the majority of our children today and no-one yet knows exactly how long for.

I sincerely hope Filey CE Nursery and Infants Academy is able to fully re-open as quickly as possible. None of us have lived through a time like this and I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your understanding, support and kind words.

We are in the process of sourcing food vouchers for our free school meal children and will contact you directly when we have them.

Please remember to visit our school website for up to date information and activities for your children. If you have any questions or need advice you can phone school as normal and leave a message, we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Finally I would like to share with you a wonderful letter that arrived on my desk this morning (PTO) and wish you all well during this uncertain time.
