Dear Parents/Carers,

Christingle Service

On Monday 17^th December our friends from St John’s will tell the Christmas story in an ‘Open the Book’ collective worship and the children will later visit St John s for our annual Christingle Service.

Christmas Parties

The Foundation Stage Christmas Parties are on the afternoon of Tuesday 18^th December and KS1 Christmas Parties are on the afternoon on Wednesday 19^th December. The Children are invited to wear their party clothes for the day.

We always welcome contributions of food for our party tea and ask if you would be kind enough to send ONE of the following:

Foundation Stage Children

Mrs Ker                                    – Buns /Cakes

Mrs Chalk/Mrs Clegg             – Biscuits

Mr George                             – Crisps & Snacks

Year one children – Crisps and Snacks

Year two children – Biscuits and Cakes

Rotary Christmas Painting Competition

 Our children have entered the ‘Rotary Club’ Christmas painting competition and this year the theme is ‘Christmas under the sea’.

Stephen Joseph Theatre

 On Tuesday 18^th December the Reception and Year one children will see ‘The Night the Moon Child Smiled’ and the Year two children will see’ Alice in Wonderland at the Stephen Joseph Theatre.

School Closes at 3.05pm on Friday 21^st December and reopens at 8.55am on Tuesday 8^th January.
