Dear Parents/Carers,

Eggciting news! Our ducks have started laying eggs! This has caused much delight through school with Year 1 children taking turns to collect them in a morning,

Children in Need Day

Just a reminder that children are invited to wear Pyjama’s to school on Friday to raise money for Children In Need. Each class will have a collection pot if you would like to make a donation.

Ebor Filey Secondary School Christmas Fair

Some of our YR2 children have been invited to run a craft stall at Ebor Filey Secondary School’s Christmas Fair on Friday 30^th November @ 9.30 -11.30am. The proceeds will go towards our own school fund and you are all invited to attend.

Mr Jacksons Class – Poetry Assembly

Friday 7^th December at 9.00am will be Mr Jackson’s class Poetry Assembly. Parents/carers of children in this class are invited to join us for this special collective worship. It will last approximately 20 minutes.

Book Exchange

Please remember our book exchange is every Friday in each Year group area. Children can swap a book from home that they have finished with and choose something new to read. Children also collect stamps for each book they swap and can earn themselves medals and prizes.

 Christmas Fair

Our School Christmas Fair is on the 7^th of December 3.15pm to 5pm. If you have any bric-a-brac or good quality toys/books you can bring these to school at any time.

Parking

Please can I politely ask that vehicle’s do not pull into the school bus area and make sure you park legally and safely around the school grounds. The safety of our children is of course paramount.
