7th March 2019

Dear Parent/ Carers

I hope you all had a good half term and enjoyed the warm early spring weather.

World Book Day

The children all look wonderful today in their outfits and have had a lovely time celebrating a wide range of books through reading stories, dancing, reciting poetry, writing, word searches and show presentations.

Thank you for supporting with costumes to enhance the children’s literacy learning.

Gymnastics Competition

Ten of our Y1 and YR2 pupils represented our school today at the inter-school gymnastics competition in Scarborough. As always they were a credit to the school showing skill, composure and a wide range of gymnastics moves.

I am delighted to say that five of our children earned bronze medals in the competition and overall our school finished 3rd out of 12 schools. Well done to them all.
