Poetry Assembly

Ready for our poetry assembly, we learnt all about different poems. We wrote Haikus and created actions to go with them. Mr Jackson was really impressed with how well we could use syllables to write our Haiku. We also wrote a brilliant poem about winter. Our poetry assembly was a great success; we even sang a song about a snowman!
We have been learning all about the Nativity story and used our mighty writer to retell the story. We have also been making lots of Christmas crafts to share with our family and our local community.
