Nursery
We reflect upon The Seasons by observing our ‘Seasons Tree’. This term we have been thinking about winter weather, particularly the cold wind and the frost. We have learnt a prayer to develop our understanding.
Reception
Mrs Macmillan – We have written a class prayer and have enjoyed sharing stories about Jesus.
Mrs Kerr – We have been writing Winter thank-you prayers.
Mrs Stubbs – We have been thinking about caring for winter birds. We have written thank-you prayers.
Year 1
Miss Norris – We have been thinking about questions which puzzle us. We have been adding those questions to our ‘Puzzle Tree’ and discussing them in circle time.
Mrs Griffiths – We have been thinking about ‘big’ questions that we often do not know the answers to. We have written some big questions in our ‘Why Book?’
Year 1/2
Mrs George – We have been on a puzzling questions walk based around the book ‘Why do the Stars Shine’ at Night?’. We have made a book with further questions and enjoy sitting in the reflective area and discussing these.
Year 2
Mrs Clark – Together we take time to reflect and share our special memories.
Miss Shackley – We have been thinking about what makes our class such a great place to be and how each person makes our class special.
