Dear Parents
Headteacher Appointment
Following interviews on Wednesday 27th March I am delighted to inform you that Mrs Angela Clark
Has been appointed as the new Headteacher for Filey CE Nursery & Infants Academy with effect from 1st September 2019.
Mrs Clark has worked at the school for 20 years as class teacher, Assistant Headteacher and post of Deputy Headteacher. Governors, the staff and myself are confident in her leadership and congratulate her on her success.
Enterprise
Mr Jackson and Mrs Stubb’s classes will hold a joint Enterprise at 11.00am on 3rd April and we hope to see you there.
Filey Town Council
Mr David Liddle, Clerk to Filey Town Council has asked me to request that parents refrain from parking on any grassed areas in the vicinity of the school. Thank you for your co-operation.
Wraparound Care (Seashells Club)
HMRC have now registered the school to accept Tax-Free Childcare Vouchers. Please contact the school office for the User ID Registration number.
Provision is from 7.30am every morning (£4.50) and until 6pm every evening
(3.05pm – 5.00pm including snack £7.00)
(3.05pm – 6.00pm including snack £9.00)
Breakfast and evening on the same day until 6.00pm £12.00

Musical Jigsaw
Tickets are available for our ‘Musical Jigsaw performances’ on
Thursday 11th April. Please see class teachers or telephone the
school office to reserve your ticket
Easter Egg Raffle
The Easter Egg Raffle will be drawn on Friday 12th April and tickets are attached. Please return any tickets by Thursday 11th April
Decorated Easter Egg Competition
We will be holding our annual Decorated Easter Egg Competition on Friday 12th April. They will be judged during the day with prizes for every class. This year there will be as

Easter Bonnet Parade
All children are invited to make an Easter Bonnet to wear on Friday 12th April. They will parade through the school and parents are invited to see the Easter Parade. Entrance for parents is through the normal end of school day gates
Easter Break
School closes for the Easter holidays on Friday 12th April and re-opens for the Summer term on Tuesday 30th April.
