Dear Parents/Carers,
It has been lovely to see so many of you supporting our Christmas activities again this year. I am sure you will agree that the children have excelled themselves in their Christmas production of ‘The Prickly Hay’ and ‘The Sleepy Shepherd’.
CHRISTMAS LUNCH
Tomorrow is Christmas Lunch of traditional turkey and all the trimmings for all children having dinner. If your child is having a home packed lunch they will also have a Christmas Cracker.
CHRISTINGLE SERVICE
On Monday 18th December our friends from St John’s will tell the Christmas story in an ‘Open the Book’ collective worship and the children will later visit St John’s for our annual Christingle Service.
CHRISTMAS PARTIES
The Foundation Stage Christmas Parties are on the afternoon of Tuesday 19th December and KS1 Christmas Parties are on the afternoon of Thursday 21st December. The children are invited to wear their party clothes for the day.
We always welcome contributions of food for our party tea and ask if you would be kind enough to send one of the following:

‘ROTARY’ CHRISTMAS PAINTING COMPETITION
Our children have entered the ‘Rotary Club’ Christmas Painting competition and this year the theme is a ‘Christmas Card’. The children’s work will be on display in the Evron Centre on Saturday 16th December.
STEPHEN JOSEPH THEATRE
On Wednesday 20th December the Reception and Year One children will see ‘Aluki and Nanuk’ and the Year Two children will see a ‘Christmas Carol’ at the Stephen Joseph Theatre.
CHRISTMAS BREAK
School closes at 3.05pm on Friday 22nd December and reopens at 8.55am on Tuesday 9th January 2018.
