Welcome to Year 1

Welcome back. The children have all settled in well to their new classes and are already working hard.

Year One have been working hard this week to make their role-play areas. We have been using different materials to make them and using our art skills to decorate them. Mr Jackson’s class are creating the London Underground and Mr Robinson’s class are creating a train station. Our topic this half term is ‘The Adventures of Paddington Bear’ and we are very excited to be exploring this in lots of detail. We’ll be travelling on our trains to different places, which is very exciting! We will be reading the story and following him to some exciting destinations.
