Chinese New Year

We have been learning all about Chinese New Year. We have talked about how and why Chinese New Year is celebrated, what clothes are worn and the presents they give. We had a brilliant time learning a special Chinese dance with the Lishi Dance Company on Thursday. The children have even helped cook and eat stir fry, rice and noodles.

We are becoming experts in Chinese writing and have painted some amazing dragons.
